My dear Sam

Like a giraffe you tower above us

So poise

Soft spoken 

Great smile that is contagious

You have proven your great desire for me


I am always dumbstruck to learn of the little things you keep

You keep them because they passed though my hands

They are the only things

Only things physical that connects you to me

Oooo Sam, how can i make it up to you


Don't blame yourself for holding back at the time

Don't feel terrible for reaching out now

Don't be afraid to reach out in the future

That heart will be nurtured 


I may not be able to offer you what you wish for

But i don't take your affection for granted

It warms my heart to hear you let go of what you held for sooo long

I wish i could give you what you need

My dear Sam this life has no balance

But we continue living 

And leave the rest to fate
