A Response To My Lover

He made a promise to me that he will always love me. He recently reminded me about this promise and how he has chosen me and will always choose me regardless of the strongest of storms

If it's true that you took your time to choose me and always want to be with me, why torture me this much? You know my heart is weak, you know i am proud of you, you know i want to have you freely, but your distance, your cold attitude towards me is nibbling my heart away. When you are fully decided, will you still find even a tiny piece?

It could be true that out of 8 billion people you chose me, i believe you. But i am not alone, and you must acknowledge that, i treasure her, for you chose her first. If i loathe her, that would mean i loathe myself. We must be similar for you to hold on to both of us.

Boo boo, be kind to me, talk to me. I can't pretend to be fine when you are only a stone throw away, but i know nothing about your well-being. My heart yearns for you. Your spell is so strong


I am not questioning your love, i just want to have you, hug you, kiss you, look into your eyes

I want to melt into your arms

I want to be a woman when with you, i want to be your woman

I am afraid if you continue like this for a little longer, my heart will be tamed to detest you

Is that what you desire?

I will continue to love you, but from a safe distance

Love is beautiful when reciprocated, but painful when in it alone
