The Chosen One

I have only dwelt on the pain he has caused me for days on end

Not that i didn't contemplate how much hurt i had caused him

I believed i had done something grave

But how grave was my mistake that it was unforgivable 

What was it that i had done to deserve all this hateful attitude 

You know when i said i wanted to forget everything about him

He was elated

That spoke volumes to me

But when he saw me today

But chose to move on

Yet he still penned it down

That showed the magnitude of affection he still has within him

Why must he punish us both

I hope we get to the bottom of all this
