I Saw Him Today!

I didn't know how much i love him

Until today

When i saw him but let him go

I had been contemplating this bump for some time

I wasn't sure 

My head was bowed

I lifted it in time to see him pass

I watched him cross the road

I watched him pause at the entrance

Whatever was going on in his mind

I watched him enter a building

A building i was well familiar with 

'A building i knew too well to locate him within

But i chose peace

I chose respect

I chose my pain over his happiness

I stayed back 

See he has made it clear to me i am not needed nor wanted

But this day brought me understanding of what's been bothering me for days on end
