The Confession

Agalo:

She wants to love

Love so madly

That when she walks in

All goes quiet

Save for a few whispers

About how fiercely she loves

But...

Kapereke:

But she fears

She fears the pain that comes with loving madly

She fears for when the whispers stop

She's afraid her love

May not be returned

In equal currency

Agalo:

...And because of that

She is withdrawn

She is back to the drawing board

She is back to throwing all that love to herself

If she can build herself to such strong love

Perhaps the lack of it won't throw her off

Kapereke:

In deed,

The lack of it won't throw her off,

But the lack of it won't make him whole too

Because we plainly say our fears

Because we remember yesterday's hurt

We care not to walk that journey again

But, how do we know we are for each other?

How do we know we are soulmates?

If we don't get to know "us"?

Agalo:

That might all be true

But that road is slippery

She is afraid

She is afraid she will lose her friend in the process

She feels safe where they are

She has grown a strong attachment to him

She cherishes what there is now

Kapereke:

He knows a bond like this never really ends like this

He knows along the way, they'll both be tempted

Because they know what is inside of them both

He knows they are both fighting not to hurt each other

He loves her

And she knows that

The friendship will live on

Today is known but

The future is unpredictable

Agalo:

They can both fight the temptations

It is possible

She only knew about the love when it was professed

It is beautiful

But she knows her demons too well

He asked to share a piece of her

Maybe she might offer that

Just that

Her life is too complicated

Kapereke:

A piece of her

Can't come without her life

He wants her life

He is open to knowing her

He wants to understand her complicated life

He has his love demons too

He wants to share it with her

Agalo:

He should have said this before it became late

But wait

She bears no quality he desires

How now...?

Kapereke:

When did he say

She bears not his quality?

Her Brain power is what he desires most

She's cheerful

He likes that

Agalo:

That brain dies out easily like a sperm in the open

Did he know that?

The cheerfulness turns rock cold often

How come he missed out on that?

She knows what physical quality he needs

That brain he mentioned just returned from work

But will she be a woman

A woman who has the facts straight

But still smitten by the half truth

Kapereke:

He loves her

He wants to know her

He wants her to be the only

Person he fights with

Agalo:

And what if that is impossible

Will she lose him from her life?

Kapereke:

Other things might be impossible

But not the friendship

He is hers

She could be his

Agalo:

She could be his

She could be happy

She wonders

What are these impossibilities

She wishes to know

Kapereke:

"And what if that is impossible"

Is what he was referring to

He knows she can be vulnerable

She doesn't want to feel

Vulnerable

He confessed his love

That is vulnerability

Agalo:

Goosebumps just filled her skin

She is scared

She is cold

Maybe she is a coward after all

Kapereke:

A coward with no name

I hope she gives in

I hope she loosens a little

I hope she accepts to own him

Agalo:

She wishes to retire from the day even when she yearns to stay here with him til the morning

Her heart aches

For no reason in particular

Kapereke:

He wishes she were here

To retire with his warm

Wet kiss on her Beautiful

Wet lips

It is okay if she rests,

He knows he'll see her soon

He knows his heart will beat

Faster on seeing her

He knows he'll want to hug her

He knows he'll want to kiss her

A beautiful journey to slumber land

Agalo:

Ooooo

How does she resist him?

How?

May be the night will help her

May she conjure herself in his night's dream

Sleep well Emperor

Kapereke:

Her Majesty the queen has commanded

He will surely sleep well
