The double standards at work places
I am and will remain baffled at the double standards at work places.
Have you seen organisation/institution vehicles being engaged in private work?
The question is, who is supposed to abuse this vehicle?
Is it you in the lower position or top management?
Decipher for yourself.
All these organisation vehicles transporting children to and from school are orders from above and directly benefitting top managers.
If you stay around schools, you definitely have seen this. (I am alluding to all this in my context)
A vehicle with a huge logo of an institution from radio stations, to profit and non profit organisations....will have to transport boss' child(ren) to school before it is engaged in institutional work. Remember someone has to sacrifice and "protect" their job by doing this extra task. The task is done using organisational fuel and human resource!
Can a junior staff "benefit" from this service? NO!
Imagine one time a junior staff received a call about their own sick child who needed to be quickly whisked away from school to a hospital. He asked a middle manager since top management were all out. With the motherly heart, she okayed this exceptional case. When top management heard of this, both staff almost lost their jobs for misusing organisational vehicle. Remember one of the top managers engages a staff by 5:00am to pick up his children drop them to school and also pick them up in the evening.
