If you are always interested in one’s health; this is for you

Ever been sick and the entire clan and neighbourhood picks interest in what you are ailing from like they are going to fundraise for the medical bills?

Clan member A: Are you sick

Patient: Yes

Clan member A: What are you suffering from?

Patient: Malaria

Clan member A: Sorry, you will recover

Clan member B: Are you suffering from malaria?

Patient: yes

Clan member B: Sorry

Neighbour A: You look frail

Patient: Yes

Neighbour A: Is it malaria making you feel that way…

Workmate A: (Rings me) your voice sounds so low

Patient: I am not feeling too well

Workmate A: Is it malaria again (before I respond)...this malaria is hitting everyone these days

And it goes on and on and on…very annoying as a matter of fact

Malaria is what everyone will literally say, because it is common and does not deprive one of so much privacy, everybody here suffers from malaria! If your sickness takes a couple of weeks, the people start whispering; she must be pregnant (that is for the female within the production stage) and for the men and other women, he must be suffering from the serious one (HIV/AIDS), I think s/he is bewitched.

Honestly people, can’t you mind your business? If one wants you to know what’s putting them down they will tell you without you asking

Going forward, if I am unwell and I do not tell what the actual problem is; I have not forgotten or assumed you know; I am just not willing to tell.

So put your life together and focus on things that will propel you, that way, you won’t even have time for such inconveniences
