Kiden

A long time ago in a tiny village surrounded by water lived 5 little girls. They were so close that each day was spent merry making and supporting each other's household. A few years passed by and the girls grew up into beautiful young women admired by all. Every time they passed by, men whispered.

Time came and they all got married. But luck was far away from Kiden, 1 year passed and Kiden's friends started bearing children. Kiden wasn't worried in that 1st year, but by the 3rd year, she was being eaten away. She never showed her pain to the world. She went around with her daily chores with her teeth showing as always, but every night was a nightmare. Kiden would cry herself to sleep."

"What is wrong with me, am I a sacrificial lamb, why won't my womb be blessed like those of my peers?", she always lamented.

Kiden loved children and children loved her back dearly. But soon the village started whispering and words got to Kiden. She was so broken, but what broke her the most was when the children she adored, loved like her own, the ones she has opened her door to, and hosted any time...when they told her their mothers had warned them against being close to her, her pieces scattered everywhere. Kiden was so sweet, she couldn't hurt a fly, but this was a about to change.
