Love is NOT for the Faint-hearted
Will you be able to make me laugh when I clock 75 the same way I will laugh in our beginning of time?
Are you able to, strong enough to collect my pieces when I break down in your arms...won't you judge me for being childish when I start crying out of the blue, won't you question who is older, me or our children when all hell breaks loose and the tears well down like the river Nile?
Can you piece us back together when several atoms of our existence scatter in one another's arms...can you?
Are you able to remember to keep me abreast every family event, life event and not come with your head hung that you didn't think it was important for me to know after I question you about it or read from your networks or even hear about it from your friends? Let me edit what's important or not.. keep spilling your daily events...
Will you keep me in your programs at all times or will you only have me a part of it only if you identify a gain?
Are you willing to ask for my help as you choke on your pride?
Are you willing to learn that communication is a bridge to all our estranged selves?
For how long will you sulk, for how long will you ignore my questions, my concerns...are you truly running away from trouble or are you creating one that you might regret why you never addressed that molehill before it turned into a mountain.
You think making me look stupid when I talk to you, ask you something and all you do is continue with what you are doing like I don't exist, raise your head towards me and get back to doing what you think is more important or just walk away...do you think that is scoring you more points?
Do you even know that evading an issue is only postponing it?
Are you willing to learn that we are independent of each other yet, dependant on one another?
Adopted from King Solomon and edited to suit our every day events...
